Nokia 3 V is a Verizon US exclusive budget phone for $168
Without fanfare, HMD announced their US bound device on August 20, their budget-friendly Nokia 3 V, which is a Verizon exclusive device. It has a price of $168 off contract but it is also available in installment of $7 per month for two years. It has a distinction of being the first the first HMd phone to be available on Verizon via post paid plan.
This is an entry level phone with entry level specs but it is not without it redeeming qualities. First off, it is touted to have a good battery life of up to two days. It also comes with huge 6.26 inch display with HD+ resolution. If you are avid Google Assistant user, then the dedicated button is going to be a welcome feature. There’s also walkie talkie feature, which comes in handy when you dictated a long query by holding the button to prevent engaging search while still mid-sentence.
Another selling point of the Nokia 3 is that it is an Android One device meaning it comes with guaranteed updates for two years which cant be said with other company,s budget phones or even flagships.
When it comes to what’s under the hood it is unsurprisingly unremarkable. The Nokia 3 V is powered by a lower tier Snapdragon 429 chipset, with a power-efficient 12nm design. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage room for your files. With regard to the rest of the specs, it is yet to be known as HMD didn’t disclose fully yet.
The Nokia 3 V is going to be released on August 23 only through Verizon carrier in the States. You can get in select brick-and-mortar store or online and comes in blue color.
