Nokia 110 4G and 105 4G are official, inexpensive basic phones with LTE
HMD unveils a duo of feature phones, the Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 105 4G. They come with LTE connectivity but their 1.8 inch with QGVA (120 x 160 px) is not going to be the most ideal for browsing content however. But what these devices will take advantage of is its VoLTE capability which allows for a high definition calls over LTE network.
As usual, the phone is as basic as it gets – a small form factor that easily slips in the pocket. It comes with a familiar keypad that long-time Nokia phone users will be at home with. That said, the Finish company makes sure that the elderly demographics is taken cared of with big, zoomed-in menus to make things easily readable. To enhance usability, the “Readout Assist” feature reads what’s on the screen to help navigation even further.
Both phones come with built-in FM Radio to distract you from boredom, which can be enabled either wired or wireless – you don’t need a plugged headset for it to turn on. However, for those who like to take their small library of music with them, then the Nokia 110 4G is for them with MP3 playback and up to 32GB expandable memory.
In terms of other extras, there is a built-in LED flashlight which comes in handy in the dark. There is also games installed to keep one entertained during downtime. Another advantage of Nokia 110 4G over the Nokia 105 4G is the camera sensor (of unknown resolution) but something you wont whipped out when taking vacation pictures.
But it wont be the legendary Nokia feature phone without the excellent battery life, right? Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 105 4G are both equipped with 1,020mAh batteries that can sustain up to five hours of talk time over 4G or up to 16 hours in 2G network. The standby time is also excellent of up to 18 days.
Both phones are available in the following colorways: Blue, Red and Black for the Nokia 105 4G, while Yellow, Aqua and also Black for the Nokia 110 4G. Pricing however is not yet announced but we expect it will be in the same ballpark as 2019’s Nokia 110 and 105.
