Samsung Galaxy S10 will be officially introduced on February 20
The internet is inundated with leaks of possible design and features of the Galaxy S10. It is no surprise that the official unwrapping of Samsung’s flagship is just around the corner, which falls almost on the exact date last year. According to Samsung’s press release online, the 10th anniversary of its popular flagship is going to be held at an event in Francisco on February 20, 2019.
Since there are already renders of the Galaxy S10 before it was official, lets take a gander at some of them. Of course, we still have to take these leaks with a grain of salt leading up to the official unveiling. According to rumor, there will be a trio of variants of the S10— Galaxy S10+ (6.4-inch), Galaxy S10 (6.1-inch), and the Galaxy S10 Lite (5.8-inch). They will all come in different color variants such as black, white, blue and green.
Samsung, to their credit is among, if not the only major phone company who didn’t adapt a notch feature on their phone. But this time around, Samsung decided to stay in the bezel-less race by placing a ‘punch-hole’ feature in its display for the camera.
According to reports, there will also be an fingerprint scanner located beneath the display for the Galaxy S10+ and the regular S10. However, there is no such feature for the “lite’ version apparently. Instead, the smaller S10 will have advance facial recognition to unlock the device which is also available for the other bigger variants.
The latest Galaxy S10 is also expected to sport the latest user interface. Their in-house Android overlay will take advantage of the bigger screen and adds more on gesture to navigate around the software.
