Mid-range Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is official: 5.5 inch, 13MP cam, 1080p and fingerprint sensor
What makes a mid-range device attractive in the sea of Android powered phones these days? The recently introduced Samsung Galaxy J7 will certainly try to vie for potential customer’s attention by completing checklists of features that one would expect in capable but relatively affordable large phone.
First off, the 5.5 inch Full HD resolution fitted with an AMOLED display is already a strong point. Considering this is not the highest pixel per inch around, but Samsung is really killing it with their display technology. When it comes to aesthetics, there is 2.5D display and metallic details that will give a bit of high-end touch to it.
On-board, there is an Octa-Core 1.6GHz that will do the heavy lifting paired with a 3GB RAM. When it comes to internal memory, the South Korean didn’t skimp either with ample 32GB to store your apps and files. It also comes with expandable memory card if the need arise.
As for the camera, there is 13MP shooter at the back with f/1.9 aperture. Meanwhile for selfie enthusiast, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Premium got you covered with 8MP front camera.
Samsung also equipped the mid-range phablet with fingerprint sensor at front which seems to be getting standard even for a non-premium device. In terms of battery, expect it to perform better with 3,300mAh capacity in which combined with less juice guzzling feature like ultra high resolution, is going to get better stamina.
The phone was introduced first in Vietnam via official Samsung Galaxy website. Priced with an equivalent US $280 when converted, it strikes a good balance between features and price.
