So What’s the Difference?
First off, what separate the Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia X6 is the price. The latter is significantly cheaper than the former but both offerings is value for money and each brings something to the table. Another aspect that differentiate the two devices is the display size— the ‘7 Plus’ has more real estate at 6 inch while the ‘X6’ measures 5.8 inches. Both phones have 1080p resolution but the Nokia X6 has more sharper screen at 435 ppi vs. 403 ppi of its bigger sibling.
Both devices have tall and ergonomically designed aspect ratio. But one thing that is very prominent on the Nokia X6 is the presence of trendy but polarizing feature, the notorious notch. Meanwhile, Nokia has decided to use a midrange but capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset for the 7 Plus and Snapdragon 636 for the X6.
As for the camera, there is going to be a significant difference at least on paper. Among them is when taking pictures in low light, as the Nokia 7 Plus has a rear dual camera that are able to take in more light (12 MP with f/1.8 aperture and 13 MP with f/2.6 aperture). Compared that to dual dual cameras of the Nokia X6 which has a 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP with f/2.2 aperture. But the higher 16 megapixel camera of the Nokia X6 against 12 MP of X Plus should be able to produce much sharper images if the lighting condition permits it.
All in all, both devices offers a tremendous value whichever phone you pick. Each has advantage over the other and neither is going to be a bad choice if you are in the market for awesome mid-range device.
